The Dilemma of Decision
Questions about the future lie within the hearts of everyone. There once was a wealthy young man pondering his destiny while making his way home. Turning a corner, he was suddenly in the midst of mothers and children gathering around a small group of men. The young aristocrat pulled his garment tight in an effort to avoid having his clothes soiled by the jostling children. The content and happy faces of the children only served to remind him of his own longing for what his money couldn't buy---having peace and assurance about what the future may hold. His reverie was interrupted as the gathering began to disperse and he recognized the man attracting the crowd. Sidestepping mothers and children, he moved to kneel before the man and asked, "Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?" "Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call Me good?
